The long pose life drawing club in Hintonburg
There are numbers of short pose life drawing groups in Ottawa, but not many offers 18 hour long pose for artists to spend more time to observe and work.
Melrose Ave. Art Club is welcoming new members who are keen to polish the drawing/painting/sculpting skills.

I have 2 updates, good one and sad one.
First, unfortunately, Juan’s workshop has been postponed…

Second, however, Saturday portrait get together was great success. 8 artists worked together. During the breaks, having tea and snack, looking at each other’s variety of style of work and chatting about art, own goal, etc etc.
It was a great stimulation! Here are some result form the get together.

I am very excited as my teacher and friend, Juan Martinez, is coming to Ottawa to offer a weekend long all prima workshop at my home studio!
Juan is a very interesting person, not only professional artist, but also competitive Kettle Bell practitioner. We have a lot of common interest as he used to practice Japanese martial arts. ^^
